Poet, Writer, Gardener

I write to whittle down my fears,
to find the universal in the particular,
to gain clarity and wisdom,
and ultimately to transform myself
over and over toward the horizons
of compassion and love.

A lush garden filled with various flowers and green plants, including pink, white, and purple blossoms, amidst dense foliage.
Close-up of white hydrangea flower petals with a dark green background.
Close-up of a blooming poppy flower showing petals, pollen, and reproductive structures.
Close-up of a cluster of white and pink flowers with elongated petals and green leaves in the background.
Close-up of multi-colored potted plants with green, purple, and red leaves.
An older man with gray hair and glasses smiling, wearing a light gray shirt, standing in front of a large, colorful flower background.

The alchemy of writing shapes the confusion of life, helping me find whatever seed of truth has emerged fresh and green.

The enduring quest of my life is to make meaning which leads to transformation.

To explore why we feel what we feel,
how we can become who we want to be,
and how we can transform the world into a place of care.
